Yes — when you work with a verified, experienced exporter. China is one of the world's largest automotive markets, and the Volkswagen T-Cross is manufactured locally by SAIC-Volkswagen. The key is partnering with a trustworthy exporter with a documented track record. At Panda Used Cars, we have helped hundreds of buyers successfully import vehicles from China, with full documentation, pre-export inspection, and transparent communication at every stage.
The Chinese-market Volkswagen T-Cross shares the same platform, engine options, and core feature set as the international version, but is produced by SAIC-Volkswagen as a joint venture model tailored for Chinese buyers. In practical terms, this means excellent build quality and reliability comparable to globally sold units, but with Chinese-specification features and left-hand drive (LHD) configuration only. If your market requires right-hand drive (RHD), we can discuss alternative vehicle sourcing options.
Our stock is continuously updated and typically includes T-Cross units from 2021 through to the latest available model year. Common trim levels in our inventory include Trendline, Comfortline, Highline, and R-Line variants. You can browse all currently available T-Cross units on our inventory page.
Yes. We export both brand-new, unregistered T-Cross units and pre-owned T-Cross vehicles with documented mileage and service history. New units offer the advantage of manufacturer warranty and zero mileage, while used units can represent exceptional value. Our team will help you identify the best option based on your budget and market requirements.
Pricing varies depending on the model year, trim level, engine variant, mileage, and your destination port. As a general guide, used T-Cross units typically range from USD 10,000 to USD 18,000 FOB China port. A full quotation will include vehicle price, inspection, documentation, and freight estimate to your chosen port. Explore our T-Cross listings to get a precise quote for your requirements.
Our standard payment terms for individual unit purchases are a 30% deposit upon confirmation of the proforma invoice, with the remaining 70% balance paid before vessel loading. For verified fleet buyers and repeat customers, we can discuss alternative payment structures. All payments are made via bank wire transfer (T/T).
FOB (Free On Board) means the quoted vehicle price covers all costs up to and including loading the vehicle onto the vessel at the Chinese departure port. Additional costs you should budget for include ocean freight, marine insurance, import duties and taxes in your destination country, port handling charges, and local customs clearance fees. We will provide a detailed breakdown in your quotation.
There is **no minimum order quantity**. We happily export single units for individual buyers and small dealerships, as well as multi-unit fleet orders for larger operators.
Every vehicle we export undergoes a comprehensive **120-point pre-export inspection** carried out by our in-house technical team. This inspection covers the engine, transmission, electrical systems, body condition, tyre condition, interior, and all functional features. You will receive a full written inspection report with photographs before we proceed with loading.
Absolutely. We actively encourage buyers to arrange independent pre-shipment inspection through recognised international agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), or CCIC. We will coordinate access to the vehicle at our facility.
If our internal inspection identifies any issue, we will disclose it fully in the inspection report and adjust pricing accordingly, or source a replacement unit that meets your specification. We do not ship vehicles with concealed defects.
Shipping transit times vary by destination. Approximate estimates from Chinese ports:
Both RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) and container shipping (20ft/40ft) are available. We will advise which is best suited for your destination and quantity.
Marine insurance is not automatically included in our standard FOB price but is strongly recommended and can be arranged by us on your behalf for a modest additional cost.
For every export transaction, we provide a complete documentation package including original vehicle title, commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and China customs export declaration.
Import duties, VAT, customs levies, and any other taxes applicable in your destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. We provide all necessary documentation to support smooth customs clearance.
Not at all. We work with first-time importers every single week and have built our process specifically to be accessible to buyers with no prior import experience. Our export consultants will explain every step and be available to answer questions throughout.
Our relationship with buyers doesn't end at the port gate. After delivery, our team remains available to assist with any documentation queries and to help you source your next vehicle when the time comes.
We've covered the most common T-Cross export questions here, but every buyer's situation is unique. Our team is ready to help.
